Dr Olga Conn
Women’s Health Advocate and Blogger, and Medical Writer
I am passionate about empowering women with the knowledge and support they need to thrive. With a background in pharmacology and a PhD in Molecular Science, I combine my deep scientific understanding with a practical approach to women’s health. I also hold a diploma in nutrition and a certificate in mental health first aid, and I have had the privilege of teaching Life Sciences at the university level, including human anatomy and physiology. My goal is to provide evidence-based insights and support, helping women understand their health and feel empowered throughout their journey.

One morning, I woke up feeling unlike myself—tired, older, with dull hair. It seemed to happen overnight, and I faced it alone. No one around me talked about ageing. I struggled with exhaustion, brain fog, itchy skin, insomnia, irritability, and mood swings, overwhelmed and unsure how to cope.
It took time to realise my body was going through a big change. Despite seeing my GP, I was dismissed because I was in my early 40s— apparently too young for perimenopause. I knew I had to take control and support my body to feel healthier and happier again. That is where my journey began.
I created this blog to support women who feel confused or isolated. You are not alone—let’s start the conversation, so you feel heard, supported, and ready to embrace this journey toward vitality.
My Vision
My goal is to create a space where women can find reliable, evidence-based information about perimenopause and menopause, with a holistic approach that includes the vital role of nourishing food for mind and body. By empowering women with knowledge about all aspects of well-being – nutrition, lifestyle, and self-care – I hope to help them embrace ageing in the healthiest, most holistic way possible.
I want this blog to be a safe, supportive place where women can express themselves, share experiences, and ask questions without judgement. By building a calm, open community, we can transform confusion and stigma into understanding and confidence.
Through my blog, I hope to inspire women to face ageing not with fear, but with clarity and self-assurance—embracing both the challenges and opportunities it brings.
